Spinal Decompression is an Alternative to Surgery

Are you one of the millions of Americans who suffers from chronic or severe low back pain? Pinched nerves?  Leg pain known as sciatica?  Neck pain?  Or, a variety of symptoms related to damaged or degenerative discs, as well as syndromes of the lumbar and cervical spine?

Maybe you have tried bed rest, muscle relaxants, pain killers, chiropractic, injections, or physical therapy.  Maybe you have been told that surgery is your only option, or worse, you have had surgery and it didn’t work.

Now you have a better option!  NO risky drugs or surgery.  NO painful injections.  An innovative new approach has been discovered that actually gets to the cause of your back pain. Spinal Decompression Therapy provides safe, gentle, non-surgical, and effective pain relief.

We believe in the possibility that your life holds .

What Makes Us Unique

We are one of the only offices to combine decompression therapy along with gentle chiropractic techniques and Cold Laser Therapy - a very effective combination to reduce pain and inflammation and promote accelerated tissue repair.

Spinal Decompression

A non-surgical treatment for herniated, protruding or bulging discs, facet syndromes, degenerative disc disease, central or lateral stenosis, sciatica and failed back surgery. As an FDA cleared technology, spinal decompression has shown great success, often helping people avoid spinal surgery and the risks associated with the long term use of medications.

The gentle distractive forces of the Spinal Decompression Therapy create a decompression of the spine with unloading due to distraction and proper positioning, to improve blood flow and nutrient exchange to the injured area. You'll experience several cycles of stretch and relaxation, which graduates to a peak over a period of several minutes.

Therapy sessions typically last less than 20 minutes, 3 times a week for 1 month, transitioning from passive to active treatments as you respond, with most patients feeling pain relief with as few as 6-10 treatments. Most patients are released from treatment after 8 weeks.

A complete program targeting the function of the stabilization muscles is a vital part of Spinal Decompression Therapy.  Exercise and adjunctive therapies such as heat, cold therapy, muscle stimulation, and Cold Laser, can assist in rehabilitation of these structures. Our goal is to not only help heal the disc, but to also enhance muscular control and support of the back and neck.

Regular home exercise and periodic visits to our office will help in maintaining your spinal health and reduce the probability of reoccurrence. Clinical results of this type of therapy have been effective in over 75% of the patients treated and most patients find long-term relief or effective management of their pain when they complete the entire program of treatments.

Spinal decompression is not for everyone.

During a complimentary initial consultation, the doctor will determine if one of the above listed conditions is present and eligible.
